She stops and whinnies. She was in full heat, and her scent was strong. It drifted on the wind.

(Heat is.... um the best way to explain this is that when a horse goes into heat, they give off a "heat" scent and it attracts stallions. Heat is when a mare is readu to be bred.)

Joseph saw a grey Arabian mare (Sweet Pea) he nickered to her softly. He cautiously approached her with his head dipped down to say he wasn't a threat. He introduced," I'm Joseph."

Joseph replied," Pretty name you have there." he stretched his neck out and tapped her in a friendly manner.

She smiled, "Thanks," She nickered quietly, her king white tail flicking. It was a wonder this stallion wasn't going nuts, seeing as she was in full heat.
