Fury I watched her seemingly try to get up. I snorted at her efforts, shaking my head. I was still breathing heavy, but I wasn't helpless at this point. "Fine I'll give you pathetic soul a little bit, but if u lay down there too long, you won't ever be getting back up!" My whinny turned into a squeal as I became more and more irritated. I needed to get back to my herd-or someone might take my mares and I'd lose my status and foals.
Patriot Cylvia came to me and gave me the bad news. Frowning, I nickered sympathetically for Sun. "I would have taken her back.. But there's nothing I can do now. Unless I were to go steal her from Fury, and I don't think that would be a good idea.."

Cylvia "I know Patriot. It's just... If only I were fast enough..... I could have saved her from him." I nicker sadly. I then go back to managing the herd. They were all quite alarmed with what is going on. "As Night was saying earlier, you stick with the herd, Sun decided to go against our herd. She paid the price today by being forced to be covered. She got scared and ran and now is being forced to do what she didn't want to. There are a lot of opportunities in this herd. We expect you to take them. In other herds they are not options they are requirements. I hope this tells you all what the world is really like. So you can make your decision. Do you want to be like sun? Or be free. It is your choice."
Sun I snorted and attempted to get up once again. Blood now flowing from my side it hurt to get up. I knew I was going to be covered. I would simply kick him afterwards. I finally managed to get up and stay up after a few tries. I was dizzy from blood loss. I knew this was the worse day of my life. (She will collapse when he tries to cover her)

Patriot I rested my head on Cylvia's flank for a moment before she addressed the entire herd. I hope this won't scare them away, I thought. Most horses don't go through that very often.. and now it seems like we're acting like it's completely normal. I shook my head, catching Cylvia's words about freedom. Free here, captured by stallions other places. I watched as Illusion parted from the crowd, trying to comfort all the horses, murmuring sweet little words into their ears about foals and safety. I smiled, happiness again flooding through. I was glad to have her back. That's what I always liked about Illusion-how amazingly nice she was. Through anything, she was polite and kind, where Silken or Cylvia might be angry. Then again, sometimes that became a nuisance.
Fury As Sun stumbled to her feet, I looked at her posture and strength. It was true that I could try to cover her-but she'd probably fall, me falling on top of her. I shook my head, no. "Come on, lets get back to the herd, mare." I nipped her to try to get her going, if not bolting, but going again.

Sun I pin my ears back. I slowly make my way back to his herd. My head low with my side aching with pain. I snort unhappily and refuse to move.
Cylvia I then left the herd to think about it and I start to walk towards the creek. I then hear a surprise whinny from Night. I glance over to see Ice Cloud is nipping her harshly. I simply thought Night did something to bother her until she spun around and gave Night a kick. I whinny angrily. I gallop over to Ice Cloud. I nip her harshly. "What do you think your doing?"
Ice Cloud I wince at the nip and respond harshly, "Your foal shouldn't be telling us on how herd life should be. You should be telling us. Patriot should be telling us, but this foal shouldn't. She is a nuisance to the herd. She should be rid of." My eyes flaring with anger. "Why should I listen to you anyways? Its not like your a good lead mare anyways." I saw Cylvia's face fill with shock and then anger. "Are you challenging me?" she asked. I nodded. "Yes, Oh Cylvia the Great, I am challenging you."

Fury I watch Sun for a moment, shaking my head. "This is why you don't do it the hard way", I muttered just loud enough for her to hear. Then I settled to watching her until she was slightly recovered.
Silken I watch from the edge of the creek as a new mare challenges Cyliva. I tilt my head, suddenly interested. I personally thought that the foal did a good job at explaining, and there was nothing wrong with it, but I wasn't going to stand by Cylvia. I was going to stand on my own, and I would join this. I canter over to the situation, shaking off the water on my pelt. I reared in front of both of them, addressing the new horse. "Don't challenge her, challenge me after I challenge her and win." My neigh bounced around the valley and I noticed Illusion and Patriot looking at us with worried eyes. "Who do you two think you are anyway? I was the lead mare of this herd for over 16 seasons!"

Cylvia I snort angrily and rear up. I go for Silk first knowing she will be harder. I come down with pure force on her lower neck/chest. I nip her angrily. I then turn to Ice Cloud and kick her as hard as possible.
Sun I stand there frozen, I simply stand there with my head lowered. I don't dare move, and I would starve myself too. Just so I could die sooner. Yes I would rather die than be in Fury's herd. I didn't even tend my wound which was still stinging. My ears were still pinned. My tail was plastered to my rump.

Silk The impact of her hooves almost makes me buckle down, but I push through. The nip stings, but I return the favor, lowering my head and ramming into her flank. I didn't back up to deal with Ice, instead I reared and crashed my hooves upon her back and continued to kick her anywhere I could reach. I stayed close to her body, preventing her from kicking me hard and try to unbalance her, crashing my chest into her side.
Illusion I gazed upon the fight with worried eyes. Normally, I would be rather nonchalant, but I didn't know how well those two horses fought. I didn't want Silken hurt, and in all truth, I wanted her as lead mare again. I wanted everything how it used to be, but that would never happen. I trotted forward, tilting my head and trying to show that I was worried but not going to get involved. I wouldn't mind lead mare, but I wasn't going to fight anyone or make a enemy for it.
Patriot I let out a sigh at the fight that was breaking out in front of me. My emotions and memories clashed with my current ideas, and the two fought as intensely as the mares. Part of me wanted Silk as my mare, part of me wanted Cylvia. I couldn't think straight, so I didn't say anything, I just watched. Let the best mare win. Except the new mare. She.. no.
Fury I cantered over to Whisper, who was watching us with inquisitive eyes. "Help her, keep her alive. And make sure she doesn't get away," I said to her in a stern and irritated voice. She seemed to hesitate, but she dipped her head and moved over to Sun. The gray-white horse started to tend to the wound and comfort Sun. I just stood there, watching.

Cylvia (Too Lazy for her) I fought and hurt silk by hitting her neck and head.
Sun I move away from Whisper but allow her to tend to my wounds. I don't listen to her 'comforting words' or whatever. My ears still pinned I nipped Whisper and grunted. I pawed the ground telling her to get away.

(Wait so Cylvia is gonna win?) Silken I limped backward, dealing with a leg wound from the new mare and the torn skin from Cylvia's kicks. Rearing one last time, I brought Cylvia crashing to the ground with me, both of us tumbling down on top of each other.
Fury I watched Sun's reaction to Whisper, tilting my head slightly. She didn't seem happy for the help, although I wasn't sure I thought she would be. Eventually I walked back over and nosed Whisper away, murmuring that she did her part. The lead mare curtly nodded before turning and trotting to the rest of the herd. I started to groom the part that wasn't injured on Sun's neck.

(Yes Cylvia is going to win) Cylvia As soon as we stop tumbling I get up as quickly as possible and pin Silk to the ground. I give her a sharp kick and a harsh nip. I saw her bleeding badly, but I knew that was the only way to sustain lead mare. I nipped her ear. "Get up. Your making a fool of yourself." I murmur before walking back to the herd. I spot Ice Cloud. "Do you STILL want to challenge me?" I ask. My side was bleeding and I knew I needed to take care of it but I wanted to take care of the lead mare matter first.
Sun As Fury approaches me and starts grooming me I take a few steps to the side. I give him a glare and paw the ground slightly. Fury might have won but it didn't mean I didn't want to do what he had in store for me.

Silken I feel her hoof bore into my skin, pinning my fatigued body down. Then, after she thinks she won, she just walks off like nothing happened. I narrowed my eyes, gathering my feet under me and snorting. I watched her go to Ice, acting like she was the most important mare in the world. I walked after her, bringing my nose to her ear. "I'll respect you, you are a strong mare.. but Cylvia, I'm not just any mare either." with that, I walked away, limping slightly with my head held high. At the edge of the clearing, I finally took time to try to tend to my wounds.
Fury I feel her body move away from me again, and I whinny with obvious amusement. Maybe she aint doing it the hard way, but I can tell you this mare will never do it the easy way. I nudged her rump, not asking, but demanding. Demanding in a tone that said, don't you even dare try to do otherwise.

Sun I snorted angrily and turned my rump the other way. I knew I would get hurt again but I would prefer it. I give him a sharp nip to the chest and say " Go ahead, hurt me all you want, cover me, I won't live to see the day that I give birth to a goal of yours."
Cylvia I was still lead mare. Thank the lord. I had to tend to my wounds though. I pass by Silk. I then stopped and turned around, I kept walking towards Silk and I helped tend her wounds. As soon as they were tended to I started grooming around her wounds to get all dirt away from the wound.

(On moms phone, so they're short)
Sun I snorted angrily and turned my rump the other way. I knew I would get hurt again but I would prefer it. I give him a sharp nip to the chest and say " Go ahead, hurt me all you want, cover me, I won't live to see the day that I give birth to a goal of yours."
Fury "Is that so?" I murmured. "Maybe I'll just hand you off to some other stallion then who'll kill your foal when it's born." I raised my eyebrows, shaking my head slightly at her. I again moved around her, and bla bla bla black
Silken I pin my ears, still irritated with both her and myself for losing. I hadn't really ever lost one before, and I didn't take it well. I didn't imply she should move away, though, and let the black mare start to groom me.

Sun I snort as he dismounts. I give him a sharp kick to the leg. I then swish my tail, walk away a few paces and stop.
Cylvia I finish grooming Silken and then pad over to the creek. I step into it to the point where it goes up to my belly. I start to wash off the dried blood and mud. I then step out of the creek and start to tens my wounds.

Fury I jump back at the kick, instinctively pinning my ears. Soon after, I shook my head and flicked my ears upward again. I watch her, tilt my head, and then walk off in the other direction to consult with Whisper about where to go next. I wanted Patriot's land, but he was quite... strong. But he would only get stronger. I needed to go back, and soon, just not immediately. I was tempted to pick off and snake his mares one by one.. and one by one.
Patriot I walk over to Silken solemny, staring at her for a moment. I couldn't decide what to make of Cylvia's winning, so I refrained from talking. I just watched for a moment, before letting out a sigh. I nuzzled her, running my teeth over her wounds. "You gave it your best shot." She stiffened, apparently with annoyance, before relaxing and nuzzling my ear. "Thank you, Patriot." I walked over to Cylvia, stopping a little way from her. "You okay?" I murmured, tilting my head to the half-submerged horse.
