I shrugged at her and followed her. "So!" The an said cheerfully. "You want a Brittany spaniel puppy, a lab, and a collie? Also a calico cat and a Russian blue cat?" I gave him a wide-eyed look. "How do you know that?" He looked at me, surprised. "We may not be able to see you in that room, but we can hear you!" He led us to a window, through it I could see a multitude of squirming puppies.

Christina gave Paul a worried glance. What else do they know about us? Her face seemed to ask. She looked at all of the squirming puppies. She started walking around looking at the puppies as they jumped up against the fences to see her.

I bit my lip, and walked after her. I looked through the cages, looking at all the puppies, I knelt down in front of a wiggly pup. It was smaller than most, so the cage was smaller, but it was amazing. It looked so cute. "You want to go in there?" I heard the man's voice behind me. I nodded. "Chirstina, come here." I said softly, not wanting to scare the puppy as the man unlocked the cage.

Christina walked over to Paul. She slowly walked into the cage. She puppy jumped on her. She laughed and sat on her knees not looking adult like at all. She giggled slightly when it jumped up on her lap and licked her face. "Hey... hey" she murmured, grabbing its paws and putting them on the floor. She pet the puppy. "Girl or boy?" she asked the man. The man replied "Boy."

Paul I smiled, going in after her. I put my knees down on the puppy's blankets. "Can I have im' for a second?" Suddenly, I saw a little tiny nose poke out from under the blanket in the basket. I looked over at it, furrowing my brow. "There's a puppy in there?" I asked. The man said "yes, and look to the back as well." I pulled the blanket back, revealing a little Shepard. I smiled at it, touching it's head. And then I looked to the back,a dn a puppy, a little older than her, emerged. A lab, with big blue eyes. My eyes widened and I scooted towards it, motioning for Christina to go to the little Shepard int he basket, that was now wagging it's but a lot. The little puppy cowered in the corner and I crouched down, trying to look non-threatening. I whispered. "aww."  |

Christina let the border collie go to Paul before going to the little border collie in the basket. She pulled it out and its light blue eyes shining. It licked her pants and her arm like crazy. She laughed and pet it. The dog licked her in return and wagged its tail. "Boy or girl?" she asked. The man replied "Girl." Christina smiled and hugged the dog. "We are keeping this one Paul." she said calmly. She kissed the dog on the head.

I nodded slowly, still holding my hand out slowly for the little puppy to sniff. It cowered for a second, but then sniffed my slightly. I said "We are keeping this one too." The little Brittany bounced up to me. I scratched it under the chin. "You are Cody." I turned to the little lab. "You are sweetie." Then to the collie. "You are sky."

She giggled and splashed him back. She enjoyed tit and dove under the water twisting and turning to escape him. She resurfaced a couple of times for air before going back under not sure where he was.

"How about Skye? Like S-K-Y-E." she spelled out. She sat down and let skye jump onto her lap. "How much for all of them? Well... Hold on... we need to get cages and the cats too..."
Cooper came up for air and hopped out of the pool. He ran to the diving board and yelled "CANON BALL!" he then jumped in curling his legs to his stomach and holding them there. A big splash came upon the pool and he surfaced laughing.

Cooper laughed slightly. "You alright?" he asked just incase she swallowed some. He was a life guards so he had dealt with it before.

I looked at the little puppy, then to Christina. "Shelby sounds to much of a fighter for me... She's a sweetie. Petal. We should name her petal!" I exclaimed, happy realizing I had found something I liked.
