There is only one Omega in a pack.....)  ~Me, I wouldn't say the life of the greatest~
"My name is Qualti (Q-All-T). I was born a runt, the little boy, and almost died of starvation a couple of times during a drought. I have a older brother, but he moved to a different pack. As I grew up, my pack was destroyed by famines, other wolf packs, and just plain life. My mother was killed just before I and my brothers and sisters were weaned. Three of us survived. As the last member of my pack was killed, I was a hunter, and a year and a half old. I was sent on my own. Beating the odds, I lived, managing to flatten my ears and get into a pack, making the omega rank. I have stayed there to this day. I like my pack, but being small, I have no ability to fight myself to the next rank. I live and die with my pack despite this, sharing the howl every night, and keeping myself alive. I am tender, with my tail usually tucked in and my ears down. I am shy and accustomed to harsh treatment."

"I am a dusty-brown wolf. My fur is matted, as I am omega. That is not a shame, it is a privilege. I try not to let my rank devour me whole.... My eyes are tan-gold-brown, and my fur resembles that. It is based with cream-white, as that is my undercoat, but colors pattern it. Gold dusts itself near my chest, around my eyes, and on my ears. Then dark-brown coats my back and my head, creating a messy look overall, but defining my eyes. Many wolves see me as a submissive, depressed, scared, completely and utterly omega wolf that is weak. That is not true. I am proud, but scared to show it, I am strong with words, sometimes, I've learned to look at the best in things, due to my lowly ranks. If you actually meet me, actually see me for who I am, I'm a great wolf, just most don't know it. |
