One problem- you're date ditches you or you don't have one. So it's up to you to get one before the night ends and then get someone and maybe get a little cosy in a bedroom later with them at the bigger party over at a popular kids family mansion, so a second prom in one night. And you're expected to get, wild, crazy, drunk, and you get the point.
Plus side- lots of people don't have dates so it's up to you to seduce the boy/girl of your dreams. And two, being a more bad kid or popular jock kid means your parents are used to misbehavior and you out partying.
